New York City FC today announced the Club will host Hispanic Heritage Night presented by Goya Foods on Saturday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. when the team faces the Portland Timbers at Yankee Stadium.
The match will feature various Hispanic elements including salsa lessons prior to the game on the outfield deck, a special national anthem performance by Tito Puente Jr. and his band, one of a kind “Vamos Celestes” scarves sold exclusively at the team store as part of the City Scarf Series, City Beats playing Latin songs throughout the game and a sampling of Goya products, amongst activities.
