Week 11 is here and New York City F.C.‘s road trip moves along to the West where they get ready to take on the Portland Timbers. After one meeting last season, NYCFC is looking for revenge as they suffered a 1-0 defeat.
The boys in blue are facing the defending MLS Cup winners, but it’s not the same Portland team from 2015. The Timbers are struggling in their 2016 campaign as they’re sitting in ninth place of the Western Conference with 12 points and only three wins.
The champs are currently on a two game losing and are looking to avoid a third consecutive loss, dating back all the way to 2012.
