With the MLS summer transfer window now open, it looks like New York City FC will look to make a couple of moves.
NYCFC sporting director Claudio Reyna has made it clear that his club will be spending money and are looking to add two players to their roster this summer.
“We’re hopeful to add two players in the window that will strengthen the team in certain areas we feel we need strengthening,” Reyna said Friday, via MLSsoccer.com. “The window just opened so we’re quietly working behind the scenes to add to the squad.”
One position that the Blues could strengthen is the midfield spot where Yangel Hererra was roaming this season before undergoing season-ending ankle surgery.
