New York City prevails 2-1 in sloppy friendly vs. Puerto Rico

This wasn't a preseason friendly. It's not the preseason.

But, at the very least, New York City FC can say that it got a trip to the beach and a 2-1 victory.

In a vastly underwhelming Friday night affair at the Estadio Juan Ramón Loubriel, an own goal apiece (!!!) and a late winner from Kwadwo Poku decided the scoring in front of 7,850.

The Bronx Blues came out in a 4-3-3, with a couple tweaks we haven't seen before.
