FT: NYCFC defeat Orlando City 2-0.
It wasn’t pretty, and it may have come at a high price, but it’ll do for now. City was in control for most of the match, though they did let Orlando gain some momentum late in the second half. Fortunately for us, the Lions didn’t come to play tonight.
Alex Ring’s boneheaded booking late in the game will force him to miss the club’s trip to Seattle. To make matters worse, Maxi Moralez didn’t look good after the O’Neil challenge which saw the latter get sent off. Hopefully, it’s nothing serious and won’t require to miss time with the club.
