New EDS coach Simon Davies sees sending players to NYCFC a "potentially great opportunity" to help their development.
As most of us know, new NYCFC head coach Patrick Vieira as recently as just a few months ago was running the Manchester City Elite Development Squad - the same academy that loaned NYCFC Shay Facey and Angelino. Now, Vieira's on the other end of the spectrum but the business of loaning EDS players to NYCFC may in fact be resuming again for the 2016 season.
Recently, on ESPN UK and Manchester Evening News, new EDS manager Simon Davies was asked about the possibility of more EDS players making their way to NYC via loans in 2016.
