Parley for the Oceans is back with adidas and Major League Soccer for the third season of their Earth Day program. This year, New York City FC is in the mix with a dark blue kit made of recycled ocean plastic.
The adidas Parley jerseys are built from technical yarns made using Parley Ocean Plastic. The original plastic source is adidas reworked into technical fibers that can then be repurposed for use in either apparel or footwear. To commemorate this unique process of repurposing plastic debris, the message “For the Oceans” is featured in the inside of the neck tape detailing, and NYCFC is featured on the back-neck.
