NYCFC has been pretty consistent with getting their young players game time in 2021. Despite being in their first full season with the club, manager Ronny Deila has found use for Homegrown signings Tayvon Gray and Andres Jasson over the course of the season.
One player that has not factored into the equation thus far is young midfielder Justin Haak who has not yet seen a single minute this season.
This is quite understandable as New York City’s current midfield is a crowded one with talents such as Keaton Parks, Cacha Acevedo, Alfredo Morales, and even James Sands all vying for spots in the central midfield.
