New York City FC traded Héber to Seattle Sounders in exchange for as much as $550,000 in General Allocation Money. The announcement made by NYCFC moments ago stated that the club will receive $200,000 in 2023 GAM and $200,000 in 2024 GAM, “with an additional $150,000 if certain performance-based incentives are met.” The statement issued by the club confirms the rumor tweeted yesterday by MLS oracle Tom Bogert.
The 31-year-old striker joined NYCFC after the start of the 2019 season from HNK Rijeka in Croatia and made an immediate impact, scoring 15 goals in just 22 appearances.
