Following a procession of rumors at the end of December, the tip of New York City FC’s midfield appears set for an official boost.
Panama international attacking midfielder Miguel Camargo, who had plied his trade in Venezuela for Mineros de Guayana, is on his way to the Five Boroughs, per WFAN and SiriusXM radio man Glenn Crooks.
Previous chatter suggested that this would be a free transfer, although no terms have been made public, and neither NYCFC nor MLS have commented publicly on any deal.
The 23 year old Camargo likes to come up the middle, but can man either wing in a pinch.
