Ben Sweat joined New York City FC as a free agent following a successful preseason trial in his home state of Florida in 2017. Sweat has since gone on to establish himself as a mainstay in the NYCFC defense, making more than 50 appearances across two seasons. In October 2018, Ben's career went full circle as he returned to Florida once again, to realize a dream...a first-call to the U.S. Men's National Team.
