Dan Bedoya — a former New York Red Bulls academy product — signed with New York City FC was signed by his current club last summer when he impressed in a scrimmage between NYCFC and the Long Island Rough Riders. Having been used solely as a depth piece since his signing, Bedoya has struggled to get first-team minutes, having only made one brief appearance against the Philadelphia Union a few weeks ago as well as a start in the U.S. Open Cup against North Carolina FC.
Earlier today, NYCFC announced that Bedoya will join USL Championship club Hartford Athletic on a loan that will last the duration of 2019.
