A day after Major League Soccer announced the return of their 2020 season, it seems that CONCACAF — North America’s governing football body — has plans of their own to resume the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League.
In an official statement from CONCACAF, the organization is in the process of negotiating the return of the 2020 edition of the Champions League with “leagues, clubs and stakeholders.”
CONCACAF’S official statement reads as follows:
“The Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League was suspended at the quarterfinal stage, with 11 matches remaining to conclude the region’s flagship men’s club competition.
