NYCFC took two City Select teams to the IMG Cup in Bradenton, Florida last weekend, both competing in the U14 Blue (2003) bracket.
For the 2003 selection, it was a winning weekend, as the team won all their games against Boynton Beach Knights, C2CFL Celtic FC and NEFC Boys, scoring nine goals and conceding just two in three matches.
Our younger 2004s also performed excellently, finishing in fifth place overall, thanks to one win and two defeats in their games against older opposition.
The team was competitive in all of the games, scoring at least one goal in each.
