NYCFC’s Academy is back in action this weekend with the U-15s and U-17s getting to work in Philadelphia as they begin their journey to the Generation adidas Cup.
The 12th edition kicks off with regional qualifying amongst MLS teams split into three different groups with the first set of matches taking place over the Columbus Day weekend.
NYCFC heads into the competition with valuable experience thanks to 2017’s triumph in Frisco as the young squad of U-16s became Generation adidas Cup Premier Division Champions as well as 2018’s run that saw them go toe-to-toe with some of the best academies in the world.
