In 2018 the entire Saints receiving corps, seven players last year, hauled in 2,521 yards. The number was 2,604 spread among five players in 2017, not a large drop-off. But it was a major decrease from 3,562 and five receivers in 2016 and 3,114 with five receivers in 2015. How can we project them doing in 2019? Should it be of concern that the Saints haven’t seemed to look for help at wide receiver in free agency?
Right now, the wide receivers group in New Orleans is a crowded one: Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn, Cameron Meredith, Austin Carr, Keith Kirkwood, Tre’Quan Smith, Travin Dural and Simmie Cobbs.
