Mock drafts are one of the more divisive things you’ll run across in sports journalism. Fans either can’t wait for them or think they’re the ultimate in gratuitous banality. Sports journalists and bloggers see them as a pain in the patookis, a necessary evil or can’t wait to put their next one out. This will be the fourth mock draft I’ve done for Who Dat Dish this offseason.
I fall in the third category of bloggers. I love putting together a good mock draft. After you’ve done them you can look back on them as little time capsules of what the common wisdom was on the shape of your team when they were written.
