Atlanta Falcons star receiver Julio Jones and his team are at a major impasse over his contract. Jones is planning on not participating in training camp until a deal is reached and the team is adamant that it won’t happen. What does this mean for the Saints?
Jones will come back to play in the regular season per his contract and holdouts like this aren’t uncommon. But Jones signed a 5-year, $71.256 million deal with the Falcons in 2015. Already wanting an extension with three years still to go on his last deal isn’t sitting well with anybody.
