After a quiet start to the NFL free agency period, the New Orleans Saints have added four veterans on defensive.
Linebackers James Laurinaitis, Nate Stupar and Craig Robertson will help a battered middle of the defense, while Nick Fairley could slide into the tackle role occupied by Kevin Williams in 2015.
NFL teams can start signing free agents on Wednesday (March 9). We'll keep an updated tally of the Saints' moves right here.
Those moves alone might not dramatically impact the Saints' league-worst defense, but they do allow the team to be more focused in next month's NFL Draft.
