Back in 2016, Teddy Bridgewater’s life was turned sideways. His cleats caught in the turf and he fell during a freak accident at Minnesota Vikings practice, shredding the ligaments in his knee and putting his career in jeopardy. The surgeon that operated on him described the damage as something normally seen in car accidents. At one point, amputation was an option.
But he bounced back. Bridgewater kept the faith, trusted his doctors, and attacked the physical rehab process. And it brought him back into the spotlight with the New Orleans Saints, years later, starting in place of Drew Brees against the Seattle Seahawks.
