The New Orleans Saints made a nail-biter out of their preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers, overcoming a 17-3 deficit to keep L.A. scoreless down the stretch and steal a victory in the final minutes, winning 19-17. But it all started when there were a few minutes remaining in the third quarter, whit the Saints set up inside the Chargers’ 30-yard line.
Saints backup quarterback Taysom Hill took the snap out of the shotgun, with two receivers to his right and another to his left. The Saints ran a nice route combination to the right side that disrupted the Chargers secondary, freeing up slot receiver Austin Carr to walk untouched into the end zone.
