The Saints opened up with a long drive that only resulted in a Will Lutz field goal, but the special teams picked up the slack. After the defense forced a Tampa Bay three-and-out, and a false start penalty, the Saints were able to come through a wide open hole in the middle of the offensive line.
Justin Hardy was right in on the kicker, got the block, scooped it and scored.
The Saints’ extra point was blocked, and they lead 9-0.
