The New Orleans Saints may have started a comeback in their Monday Night Football game against the Houston Texans. Despite having started the night with some small gains in the ground game, the Saints continued to work on establishing the run during their first possession of the second half — and it paid off.
Running back Latavius Murray, signed earlier this year as a free agent, ended up scoring his first touchdown in black and gold. Murray found a hole and streaked up into the heart of the Texans defense, cutting in the open field to outrace his opponents en route to the end zone on a 30-yard scamper.
