The people who own NFL teams tend to keep themselves out of the spotlight, content to sign checks and trust their employees to run the show. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has done more than anyone else to buck that trend, making his public persona as much a part of the team’s brand as its logo and colors.
And Jones clearly knows how to have a good time. When the Cowboys came to town for a Sunday Night Football game with the New Orleans Saints, he went out Saturday to visit Bourbon Street with thousands of other tourists.
