New Orleans Saints superstar running back Alvin Kamara has put up some impressive tape from his offseason workouts. When he’s not carrying a squat rack and hauling a Jeep Wrangler uphill, he’s practicing hand-eye coordination and building core muscle strength with signal batons and a stability ball.
That last exercise was the idea of Miami-based Dr. Sharif Tabbah of Athletix Rehab & Recovery, a trainer who specializes in physical therapy and training for professional athletes. Kamara has challenged him like few clients ever have, so Dr. Tabbah has come up with increasingly-complex training methods to keep pushing the Saints’ sensation.
