Video: Luck and Lutz give Saints 9-7 lead over Giants

New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz took advantage of a short field to hammer in a 37-yard field goal, putting the Saints up over the New York Giants at 9-7. Though the Saints’ possession came up short of a touchdown, they still managed to take the lead after trailing all game. Weirdly, this was the fifth kick Lutz attempted on the day after two previous attempts were nullified by clock error and penalty.

The drive was spurred off of a very timely turnover and return. Cornerback P.J. Williams tackled Giants tailback Wayne Gallman in the open field, striking head-up to jar the ball loose for a bouncing fumble.
