NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling joined the team one month ago after being released by the Buffalo Bills.
In just two games, he's already tied the team lead of three receiving touchdowns.
The Saints newest receiver got his latest score with 12:53 remaining in the second quarter. With a third-and-1 on their own 29, quarterback Derek Carr faked a handoff to Alvin Kamara, rolled to his left and found Valdes-Scantling open in the middle of the field. He took off untouched for a 71-yard touchdown to put the Saints up 14-6.
