The New Orleans Saints wide receiver position group was something of a mess in 2019. On one hand, you had Michael Thomas cementing his name in NFL history with a 125 catch and, Saints franchise record, 1,405 yards, nine touchdowns season. On the other hand, no other receiver was even remotely close. That’s why the Saints need to do something to correct that via the 2019 NFL Draft or in free agency. One name to watch is the Chargers Tyrell Williams.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Williams came to the Chargers as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Western Oregon following the 2015 NFL Draft.
