In-season roster moves are typical for teams around the league, and the New Orleans Saints aren't different.
The Saints brought aboard linebacker Sam Barrington, safety Shiloh Keo and tight end Brian Phillips in the past two days to bolster special teams.
The transactions, however, reflect two former members of the Denver Broncos, who happen to be the Saints' Week 10 opponent.
But, even the approach of bringing in players who previously played for an upcoming opponent isn't uncommon.
"A lot of teams, that happens," said Keo, a sixth-year pro who also played for the Houston Texans and spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals.
