The New Orleans Saints completed a trade for New York Jets quarterback Teddy Bridgewater on Wednesday afternoon, according to multiple sources.
Bridgwater, who came into the league as a first round draft choice of the Minnesota Vikings in 2014, has started 28 games with a 17-11 record. He has a 64.7% career completion percentage with 28 touchdown passes and 22 interceptions.
The 25-year-old Bridgewater suffered a severe knee injury in 2016, costing him the season and much of 2017, but returned in a backup role for the Vikings toward the end of last year.
