The Touchdown Club of New Orleans announced on Tuesday that it will be honoring five people at this year's banquet, which will be held at the Windsor Court Hotel on Mar. 11.
Those honored at the annual banquet will include former Washington Redskins general manager Bobby Beatherd, former Tulane football coach Tommy Bowden, Ponchatoula football coach Hank Tierney and NOLA.com l The Times-Picayune columnist Larry Holder.
SMG's Doug Thornton and his wife, Denise, will also be recognized during the ceremony for their continued work in the community and their efforts to ensure the reopening of the Mercedes Benz-Superdome.
