Tight security didn’t hamper fans, game

LANDOVER, Md. — Heightened security around the NFL following Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris didn’t mean much more than business as usual at FedEx Field Sunday.

But business as usual in Washington includes police in camouflage carrying M-4 rifles, just as they were at Reagan National and Dulles International airports on Saturday.

“You are in the capital of this country and you have the president to protect,” said Doug Williams, the MVP of Super Bowl XXII for the Redskins and now a personnel executive with the team. “So it’s always high no matter what’s going on.
