The New Orleans Saints offensive line has been a work in progress for a few years. In 2017 they showed that they’ve become one of the best units in the league. And not just the starting five. What the Saints put on the field in 2017 was often a hodgepodge of starting talent mixed with free agents off the street.
You could say that the Saints started putting together their current offensive line in 2013. That’s when the team spent a third round pick on left tackle Terron Armstead. He’s had some injury issues, but when healthy and on the field he’s a nightmare for opposing defensive ends.
