Members of Congress got together to prepare for a charity baseball game yesterday. Both Democrats and Republicans were out on the field to continue a long standing tradition that went back to 1909. This year, the money raised will go to the Boys and Girls Club in Washington D.C.
Both sides of the aisle were getting together to do something good. However, a gunman showed up with a rifle to engage in the most cowardly act. There were four people shot, including Congressman Stevel Scalise who remains in critical condition. Furthermore, it could’ve been worse, if the police didn’t show up as quick as they did.
