Who Dat Nation has suffered through some bad years no doubt. The defense recently in the last couple of years has been dreadful. In 2015, the Saints’ defense were ranked last in points allowed and 31st in yards given up. In 2014, the Saints were ranked 28th in points allowed and 31st in total yards allowed.
There was an obvious trend that occurred that led to the firing of Rob Ryan last year. The Black and Gold gave up 476 points last year and 424 points in 2014. Surely, things were thought to have hit rock bottom. Think again.
