The New Orleans Saints received some high praise from Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network. Crabbs listed the Saints among his studs of the 2019 offseason, along with other contenders like the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs. Here’s what Crabbs had to say about what the Saints accomplished this summer:
I’d file a complaint about the Saints not offering anything to pair with Michael Thomas at wide receiver, but let’s be honest. Your quarterback is Drew Brees. I could go out there, find soft spots vs. zone and catch 30 balls next year.
The Saints big loss was Max Unger and the team promptly responded to that by trading up in the 2nd round (with no 1st-round pick mind you…thanks a lot, Marcus Davenport!
