One thing for certain, is the prevalence of uncertainty in 2017. With the trade of Brandin Cooks and some peculiar draft picks, there’s no fear to roll the dice this year. In other words, nothing can be ruled out in 2017. Both Payton and Loomis are more inclined to take a risk in this years’ offseason. Ironically, the Saints have yet to start training camp yet. Things are gonna be interesting this year.
That being said, the Black and Gold must get help from players that are not household names just yet. That could change. Although the Saints finished 7-9 last year, a few plays could have gone a slightly different way for a few extra wins.
