You could be driving down the “Who Dat Nation Highway” instead of just plain old I-10 if bill 134 passes through the Senate.
The bill is authored by state Senator Wesley Bishop, D-New Orleans was pre-filed for the upcoming Louisiana legislative session. The bill seeks to rename the Louisiana stretch of I-10 from the Mississippi to Texas state lines as “Who Dat Nation Highway.”
The bill calls DOTD to erect “appropriate” signage provided “local or private” money is available to pay for the signs.
If bill 134 passes it would become effective Aug.
