Former New Orleans Saint Steve Gleason attended the team's Thursday morning practice.
Gleason joked with reporters following the practice that he wasn't much slower than he was in 2006 and that he wanted a New Orleans' general manager Mickey Loomis to give him a contract.
Gleason also asked fans to attend the Annual Black and Gold Celebrity softball game next Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Tulane's Turchin Stadium.
The event will be hosted by Saints players Delvin Breaux and Chase Daniel benefit the Son of a Saint organization and Team Gleason.
