The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Michael Floyd and wide receiver/kick returner Brandon Tate, sources tell ESPN's Mike Triplett.
Floyd, 28, a former first-round pick whose career was derailed by an arrest for extreme DUI, played for the Minnesota Vikings last season. He was hoping to jump-start his career with his home-town team but had only 10 catches for 78 yards.
Tate, 30, spent the last two seasons with the Buffalo Bills. In 2017, he caught six passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. But the Saints may be more interested in him as a return man.
