It was not a good night to be a fan of the New Orleans Saints.
The team lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round of the playoffs in what was likely the final game of Drew Brees’s hall of fame career. After beating the Buccaneers twice in the regular season, losing three key players and turning the ball over four different times, ended up dooming the Saints early in the second half.
It’s always tough to say good-bye, and if this is truly the end of Drew Brees’s 15 year career as the starting quarterback of the New Orleans Saints, it’s been a heck of a ride.
