One look at the Saints’ depth chart along the offensive line and fans would be forgiven for having a bit of the shivers. New Orleans, more than any other team it seems, routinely needs backup offensive linemen to play major snaps.
In 2017, eight different players played at least 80 snaps, meaning three backups saw a significant enough amount of action. In 2018 it appears on the surface the veteran depth that was so helpful the previous year has evaporated and the club may want to consider finding reinforcments.
