It’s fun to debate the best picks the New Orleans Saints have made since the 2006 NFL draft, but singling out the worst draft-day decisions of the Sean Payton era is a whole other animal. So it’s refreshing to see others take that plunge for us. The latest take comes from Pro Football Focus draft analyst Mike Renner, who went with Sedrick Ellis, the 7th overall pick in the 2008 draft when listing every team’s worst pick over the last 15 years:
“It was challenging to find a low-value draft pick for the Saints — that’s how well they’ve drafted early on.
