There are plays that will be forever known in NFL lore by a catchy name. There’s the Immaculate Reception, the Catch, from last year the Minneapolis Miracle. It’s ironic that the Saints have ended their season two years in a row with plays that will have names etched into the record books. In yesterday’s NFC Championship Game, the play that decided the fate of New Orleans’ 2018 Season will forever be known as the No-Call.
Of course this is the Saints, so the outrage around the country will die down soon enough. But what happened yesterday, two teams advancing to the Super Bowl with serious assists from the referees, will be debated heavily in the offseason.
