NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton isn't treating rookie quarterback Garrett Grayson with kid gloves.

Payton was critical of Grayson's tempo after the third-round draft pick from Colorado State played almost the entire second half of Sunday's 27-13 preseason loss to the Houston Texans.
