New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton made an appearance on CBS Sports Radio with Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney, and he took some time to speculate on the future of the quarterback position. Drew Brees is the unquestioned starter but he’s 40 years old, and the Saints have a few young options waiting in the wings.
To hear Payton tell it, Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill are around — for now — as an insurance policy. But that could morph into something more in the very near future.
“Well, I think you’re constantly thinking about your roster,” Payton began.
