Okay, this is a weird one. The story is that New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton destroyed a fire alarm in the visitors’ locker room at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati prior to the Saints’ road game there on Sunday, Nov. 11. The evidence seems to point to that being a fact.
Prior to the game, fire alarms were going off all over the stadium. That’s certainly got to be distracting. It’s not like that isn’t something a team might do to another team if they felt a distraction might help them get an advantage over an opponent who hasn’t played a noon game in several weeks and was on the road.
