Sean Payton on Lance Moore: "He's one of the best receivers that's played here"

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.VA. — With the New Orleans Saints leading the Indianapolis Colts, 22-17, with 5:42 remaining in Super Bowl XLIV, Lance Moore caught a pass from Drew Brees at the goal line and had the presence of mind to stretch his arms away from the direction it was falling.

Colts cornerback Jacob Lacey knocked the ball free, leading to an initial call of incomplete, but after a challenge by coach Sean Payton, the Saints got the 2 points and a 7-point lead that helped them secure their first Super Bowl title.

Moore's catch played a key role in the Saints' lone championship, and he had so many other plays that helped the team succeed during his nine years with the team.
