According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, NFL teams will be inquiring about Sean Payton’s availability after the season ends.
Payton, who has been with the Saints since 2006, has spent his entire time as a head coach in New Orleans. He’s amassed an 87-53 record including leading the Saints to a Super Bowl victory against the Colts in 2009.
In 2013, he and the Saints agreed to a 5-year extension that would run through the 2017 season.
Currently, the only NFL vacancy is the Miami Dolphins where Dan Campbell took over as interim head coach for Joe Philbin.
