Payton and the Saints celebrated a come-from-behind 31-28 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints (13-2) locked up the NFC's No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Saints players in January were in the locker room with a boom box blasting the "Hit the Sean Payton" song by local musician Shamarr Allen.
